Notice of Vote – Ratification Vote For ESPCA Transmission Agreement

The Union has bargained for the renewal of the EPSCA Transmission Collective agreement for the period of May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2030. Meetings are being held across the province of Ontario to discuss the outcome of those negotiations and to hold a vote to accept or reject the settlement by the parties.

The ratification meeting and vote for Local 183 will take place on:

Only members in good standing who are working in the sector are eligible to attend the meeting and vote.

This vote may set the terms of your collective agreement for the next 5 years. You are strongly encouraged to attend.

Office Closures – Friday, September 13

Please be advised of a few office closures on Friday, September 13th.

Our Toronto office will close at 1:00 pm, our Cambridge office at 12:00pm and our Barrie office at 11:30 am. These offices will reopen on Saturday, September 14th for regular business hours.

Our Cobourg and Kingston offices will remain open for regular business hours.

Free PSA Blood Test

With September being Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, LiUNA Local 183 wants to share an initiative with our friends at the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades are holding.

IUPAT, together with The Walnut Foundation and University Health Network Toronto will hold a FREE PSA blood testing clinic on Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 am-3:00 pm at their Union Hall, located at 132 Toro Road. This testing is available for all members over the age of 40.

Black Creek Community Health Centre has confirmed that they will be on-site to offer blood pressure and diabetes tests as well.


Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian men, and 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Early detection can save lives. So be proactive with your health and come out and get tested.

Starting today, our Toronto office has extended hours to pick up your #FamDay2024 wristbands!

Monday ↔️ Friday – 7:00am to 8:00pm

Saturday – 7:00am to 12:00pm

Pick-up remains open at all other office locations during regular hours.
