On June 25^th the members voted to ratify the Restoration Agreement, and there is now a new collective agreement in place between the Union and the Restoration Contractors’ Association.

An information/ratification meeting will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 8:00 am.  You must pre-register for the meeting using the Local 183 Member Portal. If you have any difficulty registering, please call Local 183 at 416-243-6502 or email sector-update@liuna183.ca.

The Union and certain contractors in the Carpet & Hardwood Sector have not reached a collective agreement. By law, the strike ended yesterday (June 15^th, 2022), and those contractors with whom the Union did not reach a collective agreement will now have the terms of their collective agreements determined by arbitration.

On June 6, 2022, the LIUNA OPDC ratified the ICI Agreement. 

The new collective agreement is now in effect, wage increases are retroactive to Monday May 2^nd, 2022.

As of May 30^th, Local 183, together with the OPDC and other LIUNA locals, have voted to renew the Provincial Utility Agreement. 

The new collective agreement is in effect retroactive to May 1^st.
