Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to wish each and every one of you Happy Holidays and all of the best to you and your loved ones.
As we reflect on the past year, I could not wish for a stronger and more dedicated union. Your hard work and tireless advocacy has strengthened our foundation both politically and economically. It is through your efforts and those of your brothers and sisters that LIUNA remains the most effective, respected, and powerful voice for working men and women.
Looking ahead, I believe there is nothing we are not capable of achieving. Thank you for everything you do to build and strengthen this union.

Bargaining Update – Strike Ended in Provincial Railroads Sector
On December 18th, 2022 the members voted to renew the Provincial Railroads Agreement, with unanimous support from all LIUNA Locals across the Province. The strike is therefore over as of today, December 18th, 2022.

The Union has reached a settlement for the Railroads Agreement.
A ratification vote will be held in person on Sunday, December 18th at 1:00 pm at both the Toronto (1263 Wilson Ave) and Kingston (145 Dalton Ave) offices.
